Jonathan Lord re-elected as MP for Woking

In an election in which Boris Johnson's Conservatives secured an overall majority in Parliament, Jonathan Lord was re-elected as MP for Woking.  The full results were as follows:


Jonathan Lord (Conservative) - 26,396 votes

Will Forster (Liberal Democrats) - 16,629 votes

Local Peer Appointed to Attend Cabinet

Woking Conservatives have welcomed news that their President, Baroness Anelay of St Johns DBE, has been appointed Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
