Jonathan Lord MP recently attended the parliamentary event for the Child Brain Injury Trust. The Child Brain Injury Trust were in Parliament to discuss their annual road accident prevention campaign, “Gloweek – Be Seen. Not Hurt”.

Commenting on the campaign, Jonathan said: “CBITGloweek is a campaign with a vital message. It encourages children, young people, and adults to wear bright clothing to stand out when it is dark. It also reminds drivers to be extra vigilant and look out for pedestrians and cyclists."

Road traffic collisions are a major cause of death worldwide, and in the UK on average there are 5 deaths and 74 injuries a day. The Child Brain Injury Trust sees the life-changing impact that road traffic collisions have, and want to make a real and positive change by improving visibility on the roads.
