Last Saturday, Jonathan Lord MP attended an event hosted by the Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF) on the importance of good mental health, and gave a vote of thanks to Surrey mental health charity Catalyst for compèring the session with great empathy and terrific expert advice.
After chairing Flood Forum meetings in Pirbright and Normandy in the morning, on Friday afternoon Jonathan chaired a meeting that he had organised between Horsell residents and managers at Thames Water to discuss longstanding flooding issues in Horsell at particular locations near Wheatsheaf Comm
On Thursday evening, Jonathan Lord MP joined the Mayor of Woking and staff and supporters at Woking Hospice for the switching-on of the Christmas lights in a ceremony that included carol singing by local school children.
