The only 'open' hustings, with all Woking candidates present/invited and the general public all invited too, arranged is by the Woking News and Mail, details as follows:

Thursday 1st June, at the HG Wells centre, starting at 7.30pm and expected to conclude by 9.30pm.

Council leader unveils ambitious plans for future of Woking

Following his re-election as Leader of Woking Borough Council, Cllr John Kingsbury gave a speech in which he stressed Conservatives’ commitment to invest in the future of Woking, transform Woking town centre and deliver affordable housing, as well as other key priorities for 2016/7.

Chitra Rana triumphs in by-election

Conservative Chitra Rana has been elected as Councillor for the ward of Goldsworth West, winning the seat of the Liberal Democrats in a by-election held on 8th October.Fellow Conservative Sonia Elbaraka fell just 32 votes short of winning a second seat in the neighbouring ward of Goldsworth West.
