Linda is chairman and has overall responsibility for the activities of the association. She is also responsible for liaising with Conservative Central Office and for supervising the other officers of the committee. She is responsible to the members and was elected by them in March 2011.

In May 2011, Linda was elected as the county councillor for St Johns and Brookwood.
