Political Discussion Group

Woking Conservatives Political Discussion group will meet on May18th, 2012, at Churchill House, where Quentin Langley will lead the discussion on "The Power of Storytelling".

As ever, the meeting is informal and preceeded by refreshments and followed by a visit to the Wheatsheaf pub at around 9pm. All are welcome to attend.

Disraeli Supper Club

The next Disraeli Supper Club event will be held on Friday, 30 March, at The Orchard House, Blackhorse Road, Woking by kind permission of Anne Pound. The guest speaker will be Esher and Walton MP Dominic Raab, along with Woking MP Jonathan Lord.

A delicious home-cooked supper including wine and soft drinks will be served and tickets will be £27.50 each - as always with our Disraeli events, early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.Call the office on 01483 773384.

Byfleet, West Byfleet and Pyrford Ploughman's Lunch

The Byfleet, West Byfleet and Pyrford Branch will be holding a Ploughman's Lunch with Delicious Desserts on Saturday March from 12.30 at the home of Trish Willitt (1 The Maltings, Byfleet). Entry is £12.50 (although no tickets are issued) and include wine, soft drinks and coffee.

Woking Constituency Conservative Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting at the Conservative Club, Mount Hermon Road on March 2 from 8pm. There will be a review of 2011 operations and performace, as well as the appointment of the officer team for 2012. All Conservative Party members in the consitutency are entitled to attend - no charge.

The Annual General Meeting of St Johns Branch will be held at the St Johns Memorial Hall in the village on February 27 from 7.30pm.

All members of the association are entitled to attend this meeting, where the branch's business for 2011 will be review and decisions for 2012 made.

Horsell High Tea

Horsell and Woodham Branch will be holding a High Tea event at The Oak House, Horsell Vale on February 18 from 3.30pm. There will be a delicious selection of cakes, sandwiches and tea at the event, which is the first of its kind for the branch. Ticket price £7.50.
